Due to a serious lack of funding, BluWave was at a real risk of having to close, at the eleventh hour we were saved. Many people kindly asked how they could help, and in response we launched a GoFundMe page and this is still live.
We need to continue to raise funds to secure the future of BluWave.
Over the past 8 years, BluWave has carried out thousands of journeys and supported more than 1,200 registered passengers, helping people get to vital medical appointments, shops, social activities, and stay connected to their communities, the people who rely on BluWave every day.
Without support, this much-valued local service could be lost.
